Michael D'Onofrio is an experienced financial professional with a diverse background in accounting, audit and taxation.  He is a licensed Certified Public Accountant in the State of New Jersey.  He is also an Enrolled Agent, licensed by the Internal Revenue Service, the only tax specialist designation awarded by the Federal government.  His industry experience includes real estate, non-profits, wholesale distribution, retail and service.  Michael D'Onofrio is currently employed as the chief finance and accounting officer for a real estate group based in Hackensack, New Jersey.  This group owns and manages residential apartment complexes throughout New Jersey as well as a full service restaurant.  Michael received his undergraduate degree in accounting from Rutgers University.  He subsequently received his graduate degree at Seton Hall University Masters in Taxation from Seton Hall University where he was recognized for his academic achievements with his induction to the International Honor Society of Beta Gamma Sigma.  His career includes many years of experience in public accounting as well as is in private and not for profit industries. This diversity has given him a unique perspective and the ability to solve complex problems in an efficient, yet practical,manner.  Throughout his career, Michael has improved profitability through process change as well as sound financial and tax planning.
